My niche is local, community-based businesses in MD, DE, VA, NJ, and PA that are within the home remodeling and construction industries.

My Process

Introduction

We start with a complimentary phone consultation, during which I can learn more about your business and hiring needs.
I will address your questions, discuss pricing, outline how the fee is billed, and explain what you can expect in return, ultimately determining if this is the right avenue.
Discovery

Once we’ve established we are working together, I conduct a site visit (if local to MD) of where the person will be working.
This is when I “poke and prod” by asking a lot of questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of your company and identify who would be the perfect fit for your team.
Productivity

This is when I begin vigorously working to fill your open position. I start by reviewing the job description and rewriting it for engagement.
Then, I create an interview process and sourcing strategy to uncover candidates who aren't actively applying but are open to new opportunities.

2007
My career in recruiting began when I worked as a Recruiting Coordinator for an online education company. I managed the backend of hiring over 3,000 employees within 6 months, every year.
HR Generalist

2009
For two years, I decided to transition my career into Human Resources, which encompassed recruiting, processing a weekly payroll, managing employee benefits, onboarding, new hire paperwork, and new hire training.
Corporate Recruiter

2011
It was invaluable learning Human Resources. However, I quickly realized that my passion lies in connecting companies with the right talent, rather than managing employees after they are hired.

2014
It was time for me to switch gears and challenge my career further by moving into agency staffing, also known as Headhunting. I worked a full desk of sales and recruiting for Fortune 500 companies.

I dislike using the word "headhunter" because it sounds barbaric. However, it accurately describes my approach, which goes far beyond simply posting job openings and hoping for applicants.
I invest in premium resources to access a vast database of resumes that match your specific needs, and I actively recruit these candidates for your company that you wouldn’t normally find.
I've Built a Network

Outside of working at a desk, I invest my time in attending networking events that enable me to build relationships with a diverse range of people.
I serve on the Board as the Events Chair for the Greater Annapolis Design District, a design and build group, where I consistently make new connections and a pulse on the industry.

During my years in corporate America, I managed relationships with outside recruiters and agencies.
